David Rosenberger was signed as a new voting member in August, making him the 500th new member signed during Indiana Farm Bureau’s 100th year.
Rosenberger is a resident of Franklin County, where his family has been farming for generations. He was reminded of the INFB membership benefits by Philip Wendel, Franklin County Farm Bureau membership chair.
“Our county agent and I went out to his farm to talk about the importance of what Indiana Farm Bureau does for our rights and property taxes,” said Wendel. “The organization is well respected at the Statehouse and at a national level.”
Rosenberger agreed that a membership could be a valuable resource to his farm and decided to join. Wendel, who has been his county’s membership chair for two years, says this is another example of how dedicated INFB’s volunteers are.
“It’s another milestone and milestones help us reach our goals,” he said. “Our volunteers have been working really hard.”
