Katrina Hall recently transitioned into a new role at Indiana Farm Bureau. As senior director of policy strategy and advocacy, Hall will identify substantial and emerging issues impacting agriculture and rural Indiana. This new role will allow Hall to focus on Farm Bureau’s strategy for developing future policy positions to address the most critical agriculture issues.
Since joining INFB’s public policy team in 1999, Hall has successfully led several key policy initiatives, including substantial property tax relief for farmers, improving annexation laws for landowners, and most recently passing legislation allowing INFB to offer more affordable health benefits to members.
She is considered one of the most respected experts in the Statehouse, particularly in the areas of tax and fiscal policy for state and local governments and school funding. Hall also will assist with member engagement, lobbying efforts and policy implementation through AgELECT and ELECT.
“Public policy is my passion and I am excited to begin this new role,” said Hall. “I am also looking forward to passing along my expertise and life-lessons to new staff.”
