Starting in February, Indiana Farm Bureau will be hosting a virtual monthly lunch-and-learn series to allow individuals to learn more about Farm Bureau as well as about other issues of importance to the ag industry.
“Throughout the pandemic, Indiana Farm Bureau has hosted virtual meetings with President Randy Kron and other leading agricultural organizations across the country to address members’ concerns,” said Brandon Rice, INFB leadership development coordinator. “From the consistently high attendance, it is apparent our members value these calls, and we plan to continue virtual updates in 2021.”
Named “INFB FACTS” (short for “Fueling Ag Collaboration Today Series”), the series’ first installment will be Feb. 24 beginning at noon EST. The program is still tentative, but the current plan is to focus on the American Farm Bureau Federation and its relationship to Indiana Farm Bureau. There also will be an opportunity to get to know INFB President Randy Kron and 2nd Vice President Isabella Chism and find out about their roles and responsibilities on a state and national level.
Subsequent installments will be offered on the fourth Wednesday of each month, also at noon.
The program is aimed at INFB members as well as INFB and insurance company staff, representatives of other ag organizations and the general public.
