This summer, Indiana Farm Bureau has six interns lending a hand across various departments – including legal, public policy, marketing, and education and engagement.

- Susanna Taylor is assisting the legal team this summer. Her projects focus on drainage, state elections and IRS issues as they relate to INFB. Taylor is originally from Flora, Indiana, and is a student at the Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. Her extracurricular activities include volunteering with the Children’s TherAplay Foundation and the Indiana State Fair.
- Tate Coulter is part of the Indiana Ag Law Foundation for the summer and is doing an analysis over the implications of the Supreme Court case regarding California’s Proposition 12. Coulter grew up on a hog farm in Albany, Indiana, and is currently attending the IU McKinney School of Law. He is the graduate advisor for the Kelley School of Business Dean’s Insight Board, a board member of the IndyBar Law Student Division executive board and a member of the Second Chance Re-Entry Assistance Program. Coulter also runs his own show pig operation.
- Hunt Reynolds is helping both the legal and public policy teams working on climate, energy and environment-related issues. Reynolds is from West Baden Springs, Indiana, where his family operates a grain and cattle farm. He is entering his final year at the IU McKinney School of Law and is part of the Federalist Society there.
- Josie Mattingly is an education and engagement (E&E) team intern and is assisting with youth and state fair activities. Mattingly grew up in Frankfort, Indiana, and will be a senior at Purdue University studying animal science. She is involved in Purdue Agricultural Council, Sigma Alpha and the children’s program at her church.
- Abbey Knowlton also is helping E&E this summer, but her focus is on education and Ag in the Classroom projects. Knowlton is from Osgood, Indiana, and will be a junior in agricultural education at Purdue this fall. At Purdue, she is involved in Sigma Alpha, Purdue Dairy Club and the Indiana Association of Agricultural Educators (IAAE).
- Morgan Hauger is working with the marketing team. Her main duties involve video and social media projects. Hauger grew up in Connersville, Indiana, and raises breeding ewes. She will be a senior at Purdue and majors in agricultural communications. At Purdue, she is the director of leadership and professional development for Sigma Alpha, vice president of Block and Bridle, and a member of Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow and Purdue’s Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter.
