Farmers and agricultural professionals who are Indiana Farm Bureau members between the ages of 18 and 35 are encouraged to apply for one of INFB’s top awards for younger members.
The Achievement Award recognizes young INFB members who earn the majority of their income from production agriculture, while the Excellence in Agriculture Award honors members who do not derive the majority of their income from a production agriculture operation they own but who actively contribute and grow their involvement in Farm Bureau and agriculture. The application deadline for both awards is May 1.
Winners and runners-up in both contests are eligible for cash and other prizes. The winners also will receive an expense-paid trip to the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 2024 convention in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jan. 19-24.
Eligible applicants must be voting members of INFB between the ages of 18 and 35 as of Jan. 31, 2022, and they also must be Indiana residents.
All applications must be submitted via the online portal no later than May 1 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Scanned or emailed entries will not be accepted.
A complete list of the requirements and detailed application instructions are available at www.infb.org/YFAP.
