Educators, volunteers and potential volunteers are invited to Indiana Farm Bureau’s summer Ag in the Classroom workshops.
Two workshops are planned:
Registration at each site begins at 8:30 a.m. EDT, and the workshops themselves will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Each workshop will include different content. The June 8 workshop will provide learning opportunities focused on grades kindergarten through 8. The June 15 workshop will be focused on grades 7-12.
For educators, the focus of both workshops is on helping those who wish to expand their curriculum to include topics related to agriculture.
Meanwhile, volunteers will learn new activities to include in classroom presentations. This is an event for those who wish to remain active as an INFB Ag in the Classroom volunteer, and for those who are interested in finding out more about AITC.
