Micah Dillman started as Indiana Farm Bureau’s education coordinator in April.
In that position, she oversees INFB’s Agriculture in the Classroom program and provides training and resources for both volunteers and professional educators.
Although Dillman is new to the INFB staff, she isn’t new to Farm Bureau. She was involved in the Bartholomew County Young Farmers & Ag Professionals program for five years, three of those years as secretary.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural education from Purdue University. Prior to joining INFB, she was an agriculture education teacher and FFA advisor at Seymour High School for eight years. She also served on the local farmers market committee and was a member of the Jackson County Extension Board.
A native of Hope, Indiana, she grew up on a small farm where the family raised and showed livestock.
She now lives near Seymour with her husband, Aaron, and son, Wesley, and they hope to start raising livestock on a small scale. They are members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brownstown.
