Jesse Cordray became the public policy project manager for Indiana Farm Bureau in April 2023.
This is a new position for INFB, and Cordray’s responsibilities include assisting in managing INFB’s grassroots policy development process. He also is responsible for communicating policy development issues to members and staff, as well as tracking and managing the public policy calendar of events and activities.
Cordray comes to INFB from the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, where he was deputy director of legislative affairs. He also previously served as press secretary and legislative assistant in the Indiana State Senate, and he held various communications and marketing positions with Klipsch Marketing & Advisors and Indiana Public Radio.
An avid sports fan, Cordray also worked for Pacers Sports & Entertainment, including as alumni relations and engagement coordinator.
He has bachelor’s degrees in journalism and telecommunications from Ball State University with a concentration on news, and he is in the process of getting a master’s degree in public management from Indiana University.
Cordray is a native of Mooresville, and he currently lives in Plainfield with his wife, Rachel, and son, Hudson.
