Harry Pearson, former INFB president, was recognized by Indiana Prairie Farmer and Purdue Agriculture as a 2024 Honorary Master Farmer. The honorary award goes to those who aren't farmers – Pearson’s son and nephew are now the active farmers – but who still contribute to Indiana agriculture.
Pearson served as INFB president for 14 years, retiring in 2001. Prior to that, he served as INFB vice president, district director and regional field assistant (what is now called a regional manager).
