More than 40 women from Indiana Farm Bureau met with their legislators at the Statehouse on February 13 for INFB's annual Women's Leadership Committee Legislator Appreciation Day. It was an opportunity for the women to talk about the organization's 2018 legislative priorities - protecting farmers and their operations; strengthening rural quality of life, limiting annexation and ensuring assessment uniformity - and how these issues affect them personally.

Ben Wicker brings years of experience to his role as the executive director of the newly-formed Indiana Agriculture Nutrient Alliance. The alliance, also known as IANA, is a partnership of 14 agriculture organizations, government agencies and academia, including Indiana Farm Bureau and the United States Department of Conservation Service in Indiana, working to improve soil health and nutrient management practices.
