Brock and Laura live in Washington County and help with the operation of their family farms in the area. Brock is a diversified farmer who specializes in horse hay and straw bales for local hardware stores. He also farms corn and soybeans and has expanded this part of his operation over the last few years. Brock also has a herd of 35 Black Angus cows.
Laura’s family farm consists of a cow-calf operation, broiler chickens for Tyson Foods, corn, soybeans and a small patch of sweet corn. When she is not in the classroom teaching her 5th-grade math students at East Washington Middle School, she is out working with her dad.
The Kieslers have a strong passion for agriculture that they hope to instill in their children as they grow their family. They have been involved with Indiana Farm Bureau for several years and attended many local YF&AP social events and the annual YF&AP Conference. Laura has served as the secretary of her county Farm Bureau board since 2012 and completed the INFB Leaders in Action program.
The Kieslers represent members in Clark, Dearborn, Floyd, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, Scott, Switzerland and Washington counties.
