Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. is seeking nominations for the 2017 Indiana Certified Crop Adviser of the Year Award. Nominations are due by November 10. The award will be presented at the Indiana Certified Crop Adviser Conference held in Indianapolis on December 12-13.

It's National Farm Safety and Health Week. Indiana Farm Bureau Vice President and Jasper County farmer, Kendell Culp, encourages farmers to practice grain bin safety awareness and reminds the public to take care when they meet up with slow-moving farm equipment on the road.

The 2017 Indiana Farm Bureau Leaders in Action (LiA) topped off their year-long program by travelling to Washington, D.C. to put their training in practice. The group met with both Senators Joe Donnelly and Todd Young; as well as Indiana Represenatives Susan Brooks, Larry Buschon, Trey Hollingsworth and Luke Messer; and staff from Todd Rokita's office.

Indiana Farm Bureau concluded its 2017 Leaders in Action program in Washington, D.C. this month where members met with Indiana’s national elected officials including Sen. Todd Young, Sen. Joe Donnelly and five U.S. Representatives. Leaders in Action is an annual program for INFB members looking to improve their leadership skills for the betterment of Indiana agriculture.
